Industry validation a drug worth chasing?

Good old Gartner stands at the presentation table handing out the ribbons to the players who paid to play.  Accurate? Relevant? Worth it?  hard to say but we recently went around the block in the Gartner games on a project and one true value it did create was a high-performance culture across the group.  Lift the standard – lift the team. We liked it.

Financial modelling is a constant in our work which means we are lucky to team up with a lot of financial brains inside clients and their advisors.  “What if” is our favourite game and we like to play it out and about.  Like Sri Lanka where we had a great time crunching numbers on a range of projects with Rohan Youngman.

How often do you get to celebrate a 30-year-old brand?  Our experience is not often.  This hit home recently with a project to celebrate the successful brand portfolio strategy of a group we started with 25 years ago.  Building smart brand chess pieces for attacking and defending gameplay was a key ingredient.
